Invitations
We ordered our invitations from Vistaprint.com. We got matching invites (50), response cards, information cards, table numbers, escort cards and address labels for $143.97 (shipping included). They arrived much quicker than the expected arrival date and I've received numerous compliments on them. Very happy with how they turned out.
Meet & Greet
We've rented a Double Decker bus ( http://doubledeckerbusoflasvegas.com/ ) for a meet and greet the night before the wedding. The bus will pick us up at NYNY at 7pm Saturday night and we will stop at the Las Vegas Sign and Fremont Street to see the light show. If we have time for another stop it'll probably be at the Bellagio, but only if the fountains are on when we get there. We've got the bus rented for 3 hours so at 10pm we'll be dropped off at NYNY and since that's early for Vegas - who knows where we'll end up afterwards. From reading other's reviews, I think we'll go to Total Wine to pick up our liquor for the bus, hopefully we can arrange with DD to pick up the booze sometime on Friday, if not we'll keep it in our hotel room and haul it downstairs with us Saturday night.
Hair and Make-up
After reading her glowing reviews on the LV board, I contacted Harmony Medina to see is she was available on our wedding date. She was! She has been so sweet to deal with. I've asked her a million questions. She will be doing my hair and make-up, as well as hair and make-up for my MOH, my mother and my FMIL. She is coming to our hotel to do a trial the Friday before the wedding and I am also getting her to spray tan me as I am the palest girl on earth. I am really looking forward to working with Harmony. We are paying for hair & makeup for all the ladies and the total was $500 for all of the above. http://harmonyartistry.weebly.com/
Photography
As I mentioned on our Ceremony page, we have hired Tyler Freear to shoot our wedding photos. Tyler has been so great to work with thus far and I am so looking forward to meeting him! We paid $1500 for 8 hours with Tyler, a CD with the rights to all the pictures and a coffee table photobook. Check out his work: http://tylerfreear.com/
Centerpieces
I got quotes from many florists in Vegas and decided to go with the Palette. Pam has been wonderful to work with. She threw in a bag of rose petals for free just because she wrote the wrong day (the date was correct) on our contract. I'm so anxious to see what our centerpieces will look like! Pam quoted us $462 for 10 centerpieces (hot pink roses & gerberas in a silver urn) including delivery. With our current numbers, I think we are only going to need 6 centerpieces.
DJ
We are bringing in DJ Godzilla for our reception. Although we didn't want a really traditional wedding, we did want a first dance, and I really wanted to dance with my dad so we decided to go with a DJ instead of an ipod. Plus, I was worried we'd run into technical glitches if we were to do the music ourselves and DJ Godzilla has had fabulous reviews so I'm excited for him to get everyone up and dancing! DJ Godzilla charged us $300 for 4 hours.
Cake Pops
Instead of having a wedding cake we are having Viva Las Cake Pops make pops for us to use as both favors and a treat. There will be 2 flavors, chocolate & yellow cake. They will be decorated in hot pink, black, silver and white. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Viva-Las-Cake-Pops/103454863074011
